Zen Master Dae Gak teaches occasionally at The Zen Society of Wooster. He was given Dharma transmission by Korean Zen Master Sueng Sahn. He has studied Zen since 1969 in both Japanese and Korean traditions. In 1986 he founded Furnace Mountain, a retreat center in Clay City, Ky., (Furnancemountain.org) For many years he led an annual Christian-Zen retreat at the Abbey of Gethsemani. He has been teaching Zen internationally since 1991.

       The Zen society of Wooster is lead by Steve Berg (Wol Kwang Osho) who was given teaching authority by Zen Master Dae Gak in 2008.
